A Worm Gear Drive Fixed Forged Steel Ball Valve is an industrial valve that achieves a 90° rotation operation through worm gear drive, featuring a forged steel body and is suitable for high-pressure and stringent operating conditions. Its core features include:
Structural Characteristics
The valve features a fixed ball structure and a PTFE-modified sealing ring design, equipped with wedge sealing technology to ensure stable sealing even under pressure differential changes. The valve body is made of ASTM A105 forged steel with a surface hardness of HRC45-50, capable of withstanding pressure ratings above 6.4 MPa.
Sealed design
The sealing surface is made of PTFE, reinforced PTFE, or cobalt-based hard alloy metal clad, with a surface roughness controlled within Ra0.4μm and a sealing pressure ratio of up to 50MPa. The bidirectional double valve seat design achieves self-sealing through spring pre-tension, allowing for pressure resistance in both upstream and downstream directions.
Applicable Scenarios
Suitable for industrial pipelines in oil, chemical, and power industries requiring high pressure and corrosion resistance, operating temperature range from -196℃ to 350℃, supporting manual, pneumatic, and electric drive methods. The new product in 2025 passes the ISO 15848-1 low-leakage certification, suitable for transportation scenarios with strict environmental protection requirements.
