I. Product Introduction
The AD6200 type overpressure emergency relief manhole is a safety emergency venting device mounted on the storage tank roof, commonly used with breathing valves to prevent damage to the tank and accidents caused by sudden overpressure inside due to unforeseen reasons. It is particularly suitable for dome-shaped atmospheric pressure tanks sealed with nitrogen.
Features include pressure-regulated discharge, flexible opening and closing, compact structure, excellent sealing performance, and safety and reliability. The product employs all-weather sealing structure, and is a safe exhaust device that adjusts the opening and closing of the pressure relief cover by using counterweights or springs.
Section II: Working Principle
Under normal operation of the breathing valve, the emergency vent manhole remains sealed, with the tank at normal pressure. In the event of a malfunctioning breathing valve or fire inside the tank, causing the tank to急剧overpressure, the valve disc of the emergency vent manhole will automatically lift to release pressure urgently, maintaining the tank pressure at a normal level. After the pressure release is complete, the valve disc will automatically return to its seat, maintaining a sealed state.
Section 3: Emergency Relief Manhole Selection Chart

Gravity Type-----For operating conditions with a set pressure less than 6.9 KPa, the pressure relief manhole opening pressure can be adjusted using a counterweight block. Generally, a choice of ≤5.0 KPa is preferred.
Spring-loaded — For conditions with a set pressure of ≥6.9KPa, the spring-loaded control can be used to regulate the opening pressure of the venting manhole, typically ≥5.0KPa.
IV. Product Advantages
1. Provide professional emergency vent calculation sheets and CAD drawings based on the data table and operating conditions provided by the customer.
2. Eddie summarizes years of design and manufacturing experience, optimizing the emergency vent manhole sealing form, sealing material, pressure set points, flow coefficient, and return-to-seal characteristics. As a result, the emergency vent manhole achieves zero-leakage sealing efficiency at 80% of the set pressure.
3. Utilizing an independent valve seat structure and imported FEP diaphragm technology, achieves a 10% overpressure technology.
4. FEP film sheets feature resistance to chemical corrosion, adhesion of liquids and vapors, extreme temperature resistance, and bonding caused by valve seat freezing.
5. Prior to shipment, each unit undergoes testing on a pressure testing platform for opening pressure and leakage, and is released for production upon passing the test.
6. Carbon steel valve bodies are coated with anti-rust primer both inside and out, with an epoxy topcoat applied externally; stainless steel valve bodies are sandblasted.
7. Standard wooden boxes are used for uniform packaging.
V. Installation Precautions
1. Ensure the emergency relief manhole is positioned upright during installation to prevent flipping or excessive tilting that could affect the component's operation.
2. During hoisting, the ropes should be secured to the four hoisting rings above the emergency vent flange, not to the head or any other part, to prevent deformation of the components.
3. When installing, consider the placement of the breathing valve and nitrogen supply valve; they should not be too close together. Generally, the breathing valve is positioned at the *** location, and the emergency venting manhole is at the second highest position.
