I. Physical Properties
- Grain and Structure: Sesame white granite has a granular structure in fine, medium, or coarse grain sizes, with uniform and dense grains, small voids (porosity typically 0.3%~0.7%), low water absorption (usually 0.15%~0.46%), and excellent frost resistance.
- Hardness and Strength: Mohs hardness approximately 6, density between 2.63~2.75g/cm³, compressive strength up to 100~300MPa (fine-grained granite can exceed 300MPa), bending strength typically 10~30MPa, excellent durability and resistance to weathering.
- Surface Texture: The natural surface is smooth and even, but can be enhanced with textures like lychee grain and burnished finish to improve slip resistance and visual depth.
