The SD44X Manual Angular Sludge Valve is a device designed for the discharge of sediment and wastewater from the bottom of water tanks, featuring manual operation, rapid opening and closing, and a simple structure.
Core Parameters
Nominal Pressure: 1.0 MPa (normal operating pressure), instantaneous pressure can reach up to 1.6 MPa.
Applicable Media: Water, wastewater, and muddy fluid.
Operating Temperature: 0-80°C.
Pipe Size Range: DN50 to DN400 (variations may occur due to different sources, some models support larger sizes).
Structural Features
Transmission System: Comprising the main valve, gear box, rack handle, and gearshift, it allows for quick opening by pressing the handle down and closing by reversing the operation.
Sealed Design: Utilizes a combination of L-shaped rubber bellows and NBR-lined rubber sheet to achieve zero leakage.
Positioning Function: Gear shift device supports 25%, 50%, and 75% three locking states of opening.
Application Scenarios
Widely used in waterworks sedimentation basins, wastewater treatment plant equalization basins, and industrial circulating water pools, for the removal of bottom sludge and wastewater. As of 2023, the popularity rate of this valve model in water supply companies has reached 73%.
Material and Installation
Valve Body Material: HT200 cast iron or stainless steel.
Installation Requirements: The valve body axis must be perpendicular to the horizontal plane. The mating pipes should be pre-cleaned and the flange connection bolts should be tightened diagonally evenly.
This valve is the preferred equipment for municipal engineering and industrial wastewater systems due to its ease of operation and reliable sealing.
