The 500X Pressure Relief Valve is a hydraulic control valve, primarily used in fire protection systems, high-rise buildings, and urban water supply projects. It switches between pressure relief and pressure retention functions through a hydraulic self-powered control system, without requiring external energy.
Structural Composition
The valve consists of a main valve, pressure relief/holding pressure pilot valve, needle valve, ball valve, microfilter, and pressure gauge, utilizing flanged connection. The main materials include cast steel and copper alloys.
Key Features
Pressure Relief Function: Automatically releases pressure when the pipeline pressure exceeds the set value, preventing overpressure.
Pressure Holding Function: Maintains upstream pressure of the main valve above the set value, suitable for sustaining system pressure after fire pumps are turned off.
Self-cleaning filter: Filters out large particles to ensure system flow is unobstructed.
Application Range: Nominal diameters ranging from DN20 to DN600, with a working pressure of 1.0-2.5 MPa and a temperature range of 0-80°C.
Application Scenario
Broadly used in high-rise buildings, residential water supply networks, and urban water supply projects, it effectively reduces water hammer impact.
