Performance, Features, and Applications
The HRWF series vortex separator utilizes pressure to inject the liquid containing particulate impurities at high speed along the tangential direction into the cone body through a rectangular inlet. This creates an external vortex within the cone, causing the solid particles in the liquid to be thrown towards the inner wall of the cone under the action of centrifugal force. Driven by gravity and the liquid, the particles then flow along the inner wall and are discharged through the bottom outlet. The clean liquid, after separation, spirals upwards along the axis of the cone to form an internal vortex and is then discharged through the outlet of the vortex separator. This achieves the separation of dirty and clean liquids with high separation accuracy, capable of separating out 98% of particles larger than 30μm.
Vortex separators are primarily used for separating fine particles from liquids, suitable for separating particles from cooling fluids used in high-speed and aggressive grinding, as well as general precision machining. Cleaned cooling fluids can enhance the lifespan and reliability of cutting tools, improve the processing quality of parts, and also prevent the deterioration of the cooling fluid, extending its service life.
The vortex separator can be used in parallel to increase flow rate, or in series to enhance filtration accuracy.
Caution: Select the pressure boosting pump range between 1.5-2.5 bar. Install a ball valve and a pressure gauge at the inlet of the vortex separator to control the coolant pressure.
