Product Details
The full name of ZKW's Fuel (Gas) Series Vacuum Hot Water Boiler is Vacuum Phase Change Boiler. Note the two key terms: "vacuum" and "phase change." A vacuum boiler forms a vacuum environment with negative pressure inside a sealed furnace body, fills it with heat transfer water, heats the heat transfer water through combustion or other means, then evaporates and condenses it to the heat exchanger, where it heats the water that needs to be heated.
Vacuum hot water boilers supply hot water at different temperatures and for various uses, such as central air conditioning, sanitary hot water, and process hot water. The lower section of the vacuum boiler is similar to a conventional boiler, consisting of a combustion chamber and heat transfer tubes; it is equipped with a heat medium (boiler water) at the bottom. The upper section is a vacuum steam chamber, containing a U-shaped tube (or straight tube) heat exchanger. As the boiler operates under a vacuum, it is highly safe. The heat medium (boiler water) inside the boiler remains unchanged throughout its operation, only circulating within the vacuum chamber, transferring heat between the boiler's heat transfer tubes and the heat exchanger. The heat medium within is pure deoxygenated water, which is non-corrosive and free of scale, extending the boiler's lifespan to over 20 years or more. In summary, boilers with such characteristics naturally trend towards replacing traditional drum-type and shell-type boilers.
Performance Advantages
1. Boiler Body: The combustion heating section of the vacuum phase change boiler body utilizes superior Q245 steel plates and 20# steel pipes. Its advantages include a large combustion chamber, low heat load in the boiler furnace, a large heating surface area, compact structure, and small water capacity with fast heating speed. Additionally, the integrated negative pressure evaporator above ensures stable performance and reliable operation. Due to the larger space in the negative pressure evaporator, the heat exchanger inserted can be custom-made according to the user's requirements. Generally, horizontal boilers use straight tube heat exchangers, with removable ends and connections for easy maintenance, cleaning of the heat exchanger water pipes.
2. Heat Exchanger Manufacturing and Structure: The heat exchanger is made of stainless steel and inserted into the vacuum evaporator chamber in a tube bundle manner, connected at both ends with flanges. Advantages: easy to disassemble and replace, corrosion-resistant, easy to maintain and clean, and durable.
3. Automation Control: Equipped with high-quality controllers and a touch screen control system, it automatically detects the water and outlet temperatures; identifies malfunctions within the burners and furnace body; programmatically controls the combustion time; accurately adjusts the entire combustion process based on load changes, reducing the frequency of startups and shutdowns due to load fluctuations, ensuring normal boiler operation, and minimizing heat loss during startups and shutdowns.
4. Combustion Equipment: Due to the special design of the vacuum phase change boiler, various imported and domestic fuel and gas burners can be configured according to the type of fuel and user requirements through the installation plate.
5. Energy-saving: Utilizing vacuum hot water boiler technology, the boiler operates under vacuum conditions with a low boiling point, achieving high latent heat of vaporization (condensation), which effectively enhances thermal efficiency and excellent heat exchange performance. The three-pass wet-back design of the boiler effectively increases the radiant and convective heat exchange surface area, resulting in a boiler thermal efficiency of up to 95%.
6. Negative Pressure Operation of the Unit, Safe and Reliable: The unit operates under vacuum, ensuring that the heat medium is in a vacuum state, eliminating the risks of expansion or explosion. The furnace contains a constant amount of heat medium water, ruling out the risk of dry burning. Equipped with multiple automatic protection devices, it offers a level of safety that is unmatched by other types of boilers.
7. Non-corrosive, Scale-Free, and Longevity: The heat exchanger is made of stainless steel, and the heat medium water injected in one-time is operated in a sealed state, ensuring no corrosion and scale buildup. Its lifespan is nearly double that of a standard boiler, with a product life of up to 30 years.
8. Versatile Models with Multiple Functions: Offer a variety of options including vertical, horizontal, fuel, gas, methanol, water tube, and flue tube models for users to choose from freely. The heat exchanger and header are separated, allowing the load of heating water and hot water to be switched as needed, catering to different requirements for heating and clean hot water use, ensuring stable and clean hot water supply.
9. Compact and Easy Installation: Modular design, high-performance heat exchange components, compact unit size for easy transportation and installation. Multiple units can be used in parallel in small spaces.
10. Unique Environmental Protection Features: Utilizing high-performance burners and a recirculating flame structure design, the fuel is fully combusted, with all environmental protection indicators meeting the national tourism area emission standards.
11. Streamlined Approval Process: The equipment operates under a vacuum, simplifying the inspection and annual review procedures for pressure windows, and operators do not require certification.
