Pneumatic hydraulic pump ZTD series

Pneumatic hydraulic pumps have a broad range of applications, capable of filling water, oil, and chemical media. They are widely used in pressure testing, blasting, and high-pressure injection fields. Driven by 3-8bar compressed air, the output pressure is adjustable, featuring automatic pressure maintenance and replenishment. The maximum output pressure can reach 400MPa, making them suitable for explosion-proof areas.

Operating Principle

The pneumatic hydraulic pump operates on a principle similar to a supercharger, applying a low pressure to a large-diameter air-driven piston. When this pressure acts on a small-area piston, it produces a high pressure. Through a two-position five-way air control directional valve, the supercharger pump can achieve continuous operation. The high-pressure plunger, controlled by a one-way valve, continuously discharges the fluid. The outlet pressure of the supercharger pump is related to the air driving pressure. When the pressure between the driving section and the output fluid section reaches equilibrium, the supercharger pump stops running and no longer consumes air. Output hydraulic pressure = pressure ratio × driving air pressure. The outlet pressure can be set through a simple gas pressure-reducing valve.

As export pressure increases, the pump slows down and applies resistance to the differential piston. The pump will automatically stop when a force balance is achieved. When the outlet pressure decreases or the driving air pressure increases, the pump will automatically start running.
