Description

Agricultural-grade chitosan oligosaccharides, also known as amino oligosaccharides, are low-molecular-weight oligosaccharides derived from the shells of crustaceans after sequential deproteinization, decalcification, deacetylation, and degradation by chitinase. They are composed of 2 to 10 amino glucose units connected by β-1-4 glycosidic bonds.

I. Key Features:

Our company produces enzyme preparations using pure crabshell chitosan as raw material, precisely controlling the degree of hydrolysis (degree of polymerization or molecular weight). The resulting chitooligosaccharides have a light appearance, dissolve quickly, possess metallic luster, and have a small inherent molecular weight, making them more active.

1. Below 1500 Da molecular weight, 100% instant solubility.

2. High content of oligosaccharides with a polymerization degree of 3-8, with greater activity.

3. High purity: High deacetylation degree, low ash content.

4. Excellent compound performance, strong alkali resistance (no flocculation at pH 14)II. Main Features:

1. Promote root growth and maintain a vital root state: Induce the development of root systems, particularly the growth of fine roots, and fully activate the rhizosphere condition, enhancing the effective absorption of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, and trace elements.

2. Activate Soil and Control Soil-Borne Diseases: Can activate the activity of beneficial bacteria such as autotrophic nitrogen-fixing bacteria, lactic acid bacteria, fiber-decomposing bacteria, and actinomycetes in the soil, providing them with nutrient sources to form dominant bacterial populations, and induce them to produce a large amount of metabolic products required by plants.

3. Prevent Nematodes: Induce plants and soil microorganisms to produce a large amount of chitinase, digesting the nematode mouthparts and inhibiting the formation of nematode eggshells.

4. Disease and Stress Resistance: Chitosan, as a sugar signaling activator, can induce plant immune activity and enhance the crop's resistance to viruses and adverse conditions, earning it the reputation of a "plant vaccine."

Section 3: Application Direction:

Seed Treatment Products: Enhance germination rate, robust sprouting, and improve later disease and stress resistance. Usage concentration ranges from 30ppm to 100ppm, with different seed types requiring separate experiments to determine the optimal concentration.

2. Antiviral or efficacy-enhancing products: Dilute directly to the concentration required by the Amino Oligosaccharide certificate, or use in combination with various pesticides such as brassinolide, choline chloride, bavistin, jinggangmycin, and virazole, etc.

3. Root and Seedling Strengthening Fertilizers or Foliar Feeds: Applying chitosan via irrigation within the first 5 days of transplanting significantly strengthens seedlings, resulting in robust root systems and thick stems, quickening seedling growth. A dosage of 30-50g per mu is recommended.

4. Soil-borne Disease and Nematode Control Products: The combination of chitosan and microbial agents offers a synergistic effect greater than the sum of its parts, effectively alleviating problems like continuous cropping obstacles and reducing symptoms such as seedling death and root rot caused by soil-borne diseases. Fields frequently treated with chitosan rarely develop nematode diseases, and using thiazophos plus chitosan is a relatively ideal solution for severe nematode infestations.

5. Enhanced Sweetness and Quality Products: Our extensive practical experience with various crops has proven that the combination of chitosan and small molecule peptides (e.g., fish protein peptides) significantly increases the conversion of crop sugars and enhances the inherent aroma of the fruits, resulting in a notably extended shelf life post-harvest.

6. As an enhancer for traditional fertilizers: Adjusting the dosage of chitosan to 20-40g/acre based on the application rate of large and medium-sized fertilizers and trace elements can significantly improve fertilizer efficacy and demonstrate the various functions of chitosan.

IV. Quality Evaluation Criteria

Chitosan oligosaccharide must be fully water-soluble (except for the paste formed during the spray process), with a solubility of over 80g/100ml of water. The difference in solubility is due to the different spray drying methods; pressure spray is in a micro-particle state, making it easier to dissolve.

2. The immediate taste of the powder chitin oligosaccharide upon opening: Currently, there are three acidic systems in the enzymatic production of chitin oligosaccharides:Acetic AcidLactic acid, citric acid; the production process involves dissolving chitosan with these three acids individually, followed by using different enzymes to hydrolyze the chitosan into smaller molecules. Ultimately, the acid radicals of these three acids are bound to the amino groups of chitosan oligosaccharides.Acetic AcidMolecular weight 60, lactic acid 90, citric acid over 200. After hydrolysis is complete,Acetic AcidThe smallest molecular weight, the weight of the acid radical bound to the amino group in oligosaccharides is definitely the smallest, and during the spraying process,Acetic AcidIt is volatile, so the powder insideAcetic AcidThe root content (by weight) is the lowest, while lactic acid and citric acid have the highest molecular weight (adding more weight) and are non-volatile. The acids added early on are all contained within the powder by the end. Therefore, among the three systems,Acetic AcidThe system's oligosaccharide content is the highest, therefore, it hasAcetic AcidOligosaccharides in taste are compared to those without.Acetic AcidHigh effective content of oligosaccharides with taste (lactic acid, citric acid).

3. PH Tolerance: A simple method can remove over 90% of poor-quality oligosaccharides on the market. The principle is that oligosaccharides with a molecular weight between 3000Da-5000Da (degree of polymerization 20-30) can dissolve in acidic or neutral water, but they are extremely unstable under alkaline conditions, leading to immediate or delayed precipitation. Good chitosan oligosaccharides (lower molecular weight) remain stable across pH 1-14, with better alkaline tolerance indicating a smaller molecular weight.
