Drive-on Sludge Sucker: The drive-on sludge sucker is designed for wastewater treatment plants and waterworks to scavenge settled sludge at the bottom of the pool to the pump suction mouth, while the machine drives along, and then discharge the sludge outside the pool, alleviating the hassle of cleaning sludge from the pool bottom.

Product Composition:

The driveable sludge suction machine consists of 1 working bridge, 2 driving walking device, 3 sludge suction system, 4 skimming device (optional), 5 electrical control cabinet, 6 siphon generator (siphon method). When used in inclined tube sedimentation ponds, a sludge suction frame and sludge suction hoist are also required.

Transmission Device: Equipped with an axle-mounted reducer as the driving force, mounted on both ends of the traveling beam, featuring dual drive, compact structure, and easy loading and unloading. It is equipped with an overload protection device that acts as a start/stop protection when the equipment is overloaded (adjusting the tension spring to regulate the preload pressure).

2 Suction System: Equipped with four submersible sludge pumps for suction power, installed on the trolley platform, connected to the sludge discharge pipeline. As the trolley moves along the length of the pool, the submersible pumps suck the settled sludge at the bottom of the pool into the pipeline, which is then discharged into the sludge trough via the pipeline arrangement.

3 Skimmer Unit: The mud scraper is equipped with a skimming blade that collects floating oil from the pool body to the ends, which is then discharged by the oil discharge units at the pool ends.

4 Sump Pipe Lines: Connected to the submersible pump, used for discharging sludge that the pump has suctioned into the pipeline.

5 Hangers: Connected to the trolley platform, used to support suspended mud pipe and scraper blades, etc.

6 Scum Removal Blade: Designed to scrape the sludge that settles at the bottom of the pool, its diamond-shaped structure effectively collects the sludge. The bottom of the blade is kept at a certain distance from the pool bottom to reduce resistance during operation and to enhance the flow of sludge, facilitating suction and discharge by the submersible sludge pump.

7 Electric Control Box:

The machine features manual, emergency stop, reverse, cut-off, and time-delay control functions. In case of a fault or for maintenance purposes, the motor can be shut off by pressing the stop button to achieve emergency cut-off. When the crane reaches both ends of the sedimentation pond, it can be stopped or reversed through the limit switch. The control box is equipped with a time-delay device, which allows for adjusting the time delay to control the operating interval of the equipment. Additionally, it includes independent control for the mud pump's start and stop functions, as well as electric leakage protection.

8-Cycle Control Device: Installed at both ends of the driving unit, collides with the position limit magnet on the steel rail to achieve reciprocating movement of the vehicle.

This equipment is supported by four points and moves across the horizontal beam spanning the horizontal flow sedimentation tank. It features dual-drive, with steel tracks laid on both sides of the tank. It runs from one end to the other, simultaneously walking and suctioning sludge. Upon hitting the stroke control, it reverses direction and continues to suction sludge on the return trip, completing one work cycle.

Product Installation Steps:

1. Pre-buried steel tracks with bolts and clamping plates are provided at both ends of the level pool side walls, one meter apart, to securely fasten the steel rails.

2. Hoist the equipment onto the clarifier, place the four walking wheels on the steel rails, level according to the baseline, and check the installation dimensions.

3. Slide the cable and electrical installation, insert the suspended cable through the lifting ring into the steel wire rope, tighten the rope, and secure it to the upright posts at both ends. Connect the main cable, power on for debugging the walking situation, install the travel switch and contact blocks, and install the anti-fall plate according to the return position.

4. Trial Run: After installation, operate the vehicle without load for at least 8 continuous hours. Continuously check for any derailment during operation. Stop immediately upon discovery and handle accordingly to prevent the equipment from falling into the pool.

5. Install the sludge pump, placing it on the work bridge.

6. Suction and mud pipe installation: Begin from the top of the mud pump's inlet and install the pipes and mud suction nozzle downwards, with a distance of 10-20mm from the mud suction nozzle to the bottom of the pond. Multiple mud pumps converge into a single mud outlet pipe and discharge into the outside sludge channel of the flat flow pond.

7. Power on the sludge pump.

8. Perform water inlet test pump operation. After ensuring the vehicle operates without issues, fill the pool with water, maintaining a water level 30mm above the mud suction pump head. While filling, start the pump and observe the mud outlet's water flow.
