Introduction to Fluorinated Silicon Oil Cotton

Fluorinated silicone oil glass fiber cotton (abbreviated as FSO cotton) boasts excellent waterproofing, oil resistance, and corrosion resistance, surpassing organic silicon materials. It is mainly used in the chlor-alkali industry, where its application improves quality by reducing the water content in the turbine from 600ppm to below 100ppm, decreasing it from 0.06% to 0.01%. This results in significant dehydration effects, reducing equipment corrosion and leakage, and extending the cleaning cycle from one month to over a year. When paired with turbines, a centrifugal compressor can replace a Nusselt pump, saving 13,000 kWh of electricity daily, totaling 4.5 million kWh annually, and 300 tons of sulfuric acid.
