The cross-sectioned four-point contact ball thin-walled bearing (X-type) stands out for its extremely thin cross-section, which allows for larger dimensions and weight reduction in lightweight to medium-duty applications with slow or intermittent rotation. The four-point contact ball bearings can withstand three types of loads: radial loads, axial loads, and moments. Since a four-point contact ball bearing can often replace two, it simplifies the design. These bearings can be provided with different internal preload and clearances according to customer requirements, achieved by using balls that are larger than the gap between the inner and outer raceways.
