Flue gas desulfurization and denitrification technology is a boiler flue gas purification technique applied to chemical industries that produce a high concentration of nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides. Nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides are one of the primary sources of air pollution. Therefore, the application of this technology greatly benefits air purification and environmental protection. Known technologies for flue gas desulfurization and denitrification include PAFP, ACFP, manganese ore, electron beam ammonia, pulsed corona discharge, gypsum wet process, catalytic oxidation, and microbial degradation methods, among others.
