Our work is safe, quick, technically skilled, priced competitively, and we honor our commitments with integrity. We sincerely look forward to partnering with you for mutual success!
Chimney painting and coating, as well as beautification work for buoys with color rings, generally involve two methods of operation, both requiring high-altitude climbing. The operations involve ascending to the top of the chimney or a platform, then proceeding with either (1) high-altitude suspended rope work or (2) installation of a high-altitude basket.
Safety Points for High-Altitude Anti-Corrosion Construction
1. Familiarize yourself with the professional technical skills of this trade and all safety regulations for chimney anti-corrosion construction.
2. Must be 18 years old and pass a physical examination to engage in high-altitude work. Individuals with hypertension, heart disease, epilepsy, and other conditions unsuitable for high-altitude work are prohibited from climbing.
3. Above 2 meters from the ground, with an inclined plane slope greater than 45 degrees, and no level standing ground or areas with vibration on the working surface, it should be considered as high-altitude work.
4. Protective gear must be worn properly, pants legs should be tucked in, a hard hat must be worn, and smooth-bottomed shoes are not allowed. A safety belt of sufficient strength is required, and the rope should be tied to a solid building structure or metal framework; it must not be tied to any moving object.
Before climbing, the construction supervisor should conduct on-site safety education for all personnel.
6. Inspect all climbing equipment and safety gear (such as helmets, safety belts, ladders, platforms, scaffolding, protective boards, safety nets, etc.) for safety and reliability; absolutely no risky operations allowed.
7. Mark off restricted areas on the ground in high-altitude work zones and hang up warning signs such as "No Trespassing" and "Access Prohibited."
8. Prior to working near power (low voltage) lines, contact for power outage. Work can only proceed after confirmation of the outage, and insulating barriers should be set up. Workers must stay at least 2 meters away from the power lines (low voltage) and it is prohibited to work under high-voltage lines.
9. Tools, parts, and materials used for high-altitude chimney anti-corrosion work must be stored in a tool bag. No items should be held in hand during ascent or descent, and movement must be along designated routes; materials or tools should not be thrown from height. Do not stack tools or materials that are prone to sliding on scaffolding; do not leave them lying around. After work is completed, all items that could fall, including tools, materials, and parts, should be cleaned up promptly to prevent injury from falling objects. When handling large parts, use reliable lifting equipment.
10. Always be aware of hazard signs and areas. For night work, adequate lighting must be provided; otherwise, construction is prohibited.
11. Prohibit simultaneous vertical work from both upper and lower levels. In case of special circumstances where vertical work is necessary, prior approval from relevant leaders is required, and a protective shed or other isolation facilities should be set up between the upper and lower levels.
Do not rest in elevated areas without guardrails to prevent falls.
13. Plyboards over 3 meters in length should not accommodate two workers at the same time.
14. Walkways, ramps, gangways, and transportation tracks should be kept clean at all times.
15. No overhead work is allowed outdoors when encountering winds of level 6 or above.
