    Almond Pellet Press Adhesive Puffing refers to the phenomenon where fine powder on the surface of the pellets is adhered to the punch and mold during the pressing process, resulting in uneven and blemished surfaces with indentations. The embossing punch is more prone to experiencing adhesive puffing.

    1. Insufficient lubricant usage or incorrect selection, excessive fine powder. Increase lubricant usage appropriately or replace with new lubricant, and remove excess fine powder.

    Character engraving and stamping design is not reasonable. Replace the stamper or modify the character design accordingly.

    3. Excessive moisture in the granules or uneven dryness and wetness of the granules causing adhesion. Solution: Control the moisture content of the granules to around 2% to 3%, and strengthen the inspection of dry particles.

    Due to the inherent nature of the raw materials (such as hygroscopic properties), sticking occurs. Solution: Add a certain amount of absorbent (such as adding calcium hydrogen phosphate at a 3x ratio) to prevent sticking.

    5. Significant differences in the fineness of raw materials result in uneven mixing or improper mixing time. Solution: Grind and sieve the raw materials to achieve the required fineness for the product, while also mastering and controlling the mixing time.

    6. Low adhesive concentration or poor adhesion due to adhesive quality issues, with excessive fine powder (over 10% or more) leading to sticking. Solution: Use a 40-mesh screen to sift out the fine powder, re-granulate, dry, and re-sieve, then mix the entire batch uniformly before compressing into tablets.

    7. Surface damage or reduced smoothness on the punch, or the presence of rustproof oil or lubricant, may also be due to new molds with rough surfaces or deep engravings with sharp edges. Clean the punch, replace non-standard molds, or apply a thin layer of liquid paraffin to the engraved punch surface for lubrication. Additionally, if sticking is caused by mechanical overheating, investigate the cause and repair the equipment.

    8. Excessive humidity levels in the environment. Reduce the environmental humidity.

    9. High temperatures in the operation room can easily cause sticking. Attention should be paid to reducing the temperature in the operation room.
