Several Points to Note for Epoxy Flooring Maintenance and Care

Avoid direct sunlight exposure to prevent the epoxy flooring coating from yellowing and discoloring.

2. Avoid frequent exposure to running water or chemical solvent immersion on the surface to prevent softening of the epoxy flooring.

No more than 30% concentrated acid should be used for floor etching.

4. Floors frequently exposed to chemical solvents may become stained, with lighter floors showing the effect more prominently. This is often not due to the solvent itself but rather to other substances dissolved onto the floor. Such contamination is usually difficult to remove. Additionally, floors with rust, if continually contaminated, may also be challenging to clean thoroughly. Therefore, these situations should be avoided.

Do not directly strike the floor with hard or pointed objects. In case of an accident where a sharp object leaves a scratch (repairable but with a mark), timely repair is necessary if the scratch is deep, as it may affect the adhesion of the surrounding coating.

6. When performing indoor electrical welding and cutting operations, or moving heavy equipment, protective layers should be laid to prevent wear on the epoxy coating.

7. Clean off any splatter immediately after pickling or alkaline washing. For daily spills of condiments, oil, etc., simply wipe them up with a rag.

8. Change into soft-soled shoes upon entering the cleanroom.

9. Please use clean water or a slightly alkaline detergent for cleaning. For daily sweeping, a soft broom or cloth can be used to clean; for stubborn stains, apply a neutral cleaner, wipe with a damp cloth, then rinse with water, thoroughly dry, and apply a thin coat of wax.

If possible, smooth coatings should be regularly maintained with a glossy wax to maintain their aesthetic appeal.
