Notice for the 2nd Phase of Certification and Re-examination for Operators

All concerned parties:

Shandong Provincial Institute of Standardization will conduct examinations for individuals participating in the 2nd phase of certification, re-examination, and additional qualifications for non-metallic welding (PE) operations of special equipment, as required by the "Regulations for the Examination of Welding Operators of Special Equipment" and relevant regulations from the provincial and municipal bureaus. The exams will be held from March 17 to 24, 2025. All examinees are requested to attend on time. The following details regarding the examination are hereby notified:

I. Assessment Schedule

(One) Theory Exam Arrangement

Date: March 17, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Location: Shandong Provincial Institute of Standardization (No. 9 Dashan Road), 1st Floor, Room 106 for computer-based tests.

(II) Practical Operation Exam Schedule

Date: March 17th, 8:30 AM - 24th, 5:00 PM.

Location: Shandong Provincial Institute of Standardization (No. 9 Shandong University Road), Non-metallic Welding Laboratory.

Section II: Exam Requirements

All examination items for candidates are self-provided; the examination institution does not supply any examination item samples. Please refer to Attachment 1 for quantity, size, and quality standards.

Candidates must report to the 1st floor lobby of Building 9, Shandong Road on March 16th for sign-in; failure to do so will be considered as a withdrawal from the exam. Please bring your ID card, admission ticket, and acceptance notice and submit them upon reporting.

3. Candidates for the assessment must strictly adhere to the "Examination Room Regulations." They should arrive at the examination venue 20 minutes prior to the scheduled time, as indicated in the "Examination Notice," carrying their ID card and admission ticket. Authentication and comparison will be conducted, and no unexcused lateness is permitted.

4. Candidates are required to adhere to all examination regulations,自觉 comply with the supervisors' management, and must not hinder the supervisors in performing their duties for any reason. They must not disrupt the order of the examination venue or any other examination location. Offenders of regulations and those involved in cheating will be dealt with in accordance with relevant provisions.

During the exam period, candidates are advised to take personal safety precautions and wear masks throughout.

During the exam period, accommodation and meals will be arranged centrally, with participants covering their own costs.
