Special New Air Dehumidifier Unit

 

The Special New-Air Dehumidification Unit is composed of an air-cooled refrigeration system, a treated air heating system, a desiccant wheel dehumidification unit, a regeneration system, and an electrical control system. During summer or humid weather, air is cooled and dehumidified by the new-air refrigeration system, then enters the desiccant wheel for dehumidification. The dry air after passing through the desiccant wheel is finally discharged by the fan; in winter or dry conditions, the treated air is heated by an electric heater before being discharged.

The Principle of Refrigeration Dehumidification: Due to the difference in the amount of moisture that air can hold at various temperatures and energy levels, the moisture content in the air decreases as the air temperature drops. When hot and humid ambient air passes through a new air evaporative cooler, it is cooled and dehumidified by the evaporative coils. As the temperature decreases, the water vapor in the air condenses and reaches saturation. When the dew point of the air continues to drop, the water vapor in the air turns into condensate and precipitates out, thereby reducing the absolute moisture content in the air. This process achieves cooling and dehumidification.

Desiccant Wheel Dehumidification Principle: The dehumidification wheel is internally divided into a processing area and a regeneration area by a sealed system within the dehumidification section. The wheel rotates slowly at a speed of 8-35 RPM to ensure a continuous dehumidification process. As the treated air passes through the processing area of the wheel, moisture is adsorbed by the desiccant medium, with water molecules undergoing phase change and releasing latent heat. The wheel gradually approaches saturation as it absorbs a certain amount of moisture. Consequently, the treated air becomes dry and warm due to the reduction in moisture content and the release of latent heat. Simultaneously, in the regeneration area, another stream of air is first heated by the regeneration heater, turning into hot air and passing through the saturated wheel after adsorption. This causes the adsorbed moisture in the wheel to evaporate, restoring the wheel's adsorption capacity. The regeneration air becomes moist due to the evaporation of moisture in the wheel. Finally, the moist air is exhausted outdoors through a regeneration fan.

 

Product Features

 

1. Utilizing multiple fully enclosed scroll compressors or semi-enclosed screw compressors, the treated air outlet parameters maintain excellent uniformity even when there are significant fluctuations in environmental temperature and humidity.

2. The condenser is vertically installed in a vertical structure, featuring a reasonable air flow organization and minimal dust accumulation, thereby enhancing heat exchange efficiency. Compared to similar products, the condensing pressure can be reduced by over 10%, and the unit refrigeration capacity can be increased by over 9%. Paired with an efficient and energy-saving axial flow fan, the equipment can operate normally under high-temperature conditions where the ambient temperature exceeds 37°C.

3. The evaporator utilizes a two-stage system, introducing the high-temperature exhaust from the compressor into the secondary stage. This design ensures maximum dehumidification while also achieving the appropriate cooling regulation.

4. Equipped with both automatic and manual control systems, it is easy to operate and can quickly respond in emergency situations.

5. The electrical circuit is equipped with various protective devices: phase failure and phase loss protection, compressor high and low-pressure protection, thermal protection, motor overcurrent protection, etc.

6. The operational interface promptly displays import/export temperatures and changes in the status of each work point. In case of any equipment malfunction, the fault point is displayed immediately for timely troubleshooting and normal operation.

7. The control cabinet features a double-door structure with waterproofing treatment.

8. The air intake filter uses a stainless steel frame and multi-layer aluminum alloy material, which is easy to disassemble, fire-resistant, and aesthetically pleasing. It is durable and has low air resistance.

9. The equipment features a butterfly flow control valve at the exhaust outlet, facilitating the adjustment of air volume.

10. The water damper utilizes a labyrinthine structure made of metal material, overcoming the weaknesses of paper material which only reduces the size of water particles and is prone to saturation, effectively blocking the condensate from the evaporator.
