Curing Methods for Concrete Pipes

Cement Pipe Maintenance Methods: Firstly, construct a steam curing pool, typically requiring a width of 2.5 meters, a length of 4 meters, and a depth of 3 meters, though these dimensions can be adjusted based on production volume and the size of the cement pipe molds. Additionally, a boiler is needed to supply steam to the curing pool, ensuring good sealing. Once the pool is ready, it is ready for use. After the cement pipes are made, they can be hung in the steam curing pool for curing. Generally, it takes 2.5 to 3.5 hours for the cement pipes to solidify after curing. The higher the temperature, the shorter the curing time, with curing time and steam temperature being inversely proportional. The ideal natural curing does not require a steam curing pool. After the cement pipes are manufactured on the cement pipe machine, do not remove the mold. Place the mold and pipes outdoors for natural curing. Typically, it takes a certain amount of time for the cement pipes to be cured outdoors, usually two days before the mold can be opened. After demolding, an additional 4 to 6 days of natural curing are required, with someone spraying the pipes with water three times a day, usually in the morning, noon, and afternoon. The purpose of spraying water is to maintain the humidity of the cement pipes, allowing concrete to slowly solidify. The frequency of watering can be adjusted according to weather and humidity conditions. However, natural curing requires a larger number of cement pipe molds.
