Glass Lined Reactor Usage and Maintenance

The usage and maintenance of the glass-lined reactor are as follows:

Operation: Ensure the equipment operates within safe parameters, checking the pressure, temperature, and vacuum inside the kettle and jacket at the start of each shift. Pay special attention to the sound of the agitator and the condition of the thermometer sleeve, ensuring no anomalies are present. Equipment Monitoring: Operators and maintenance staff should monitor the equipment visually, tactually, and auditorily. If any abnormalities on the surface, excessive temperature rise, or unusual operating sounds are detected, potential issues should be reported promptly.

Maintenance and Repair: - Recommended to perform maintenance twice a year, once before the Spring Festival and once during major repairs. - Thermometer Tube: Check for corrosion every 6 months; replace if the glass surface is cracked; for stainless steel, inspect for corrosion and weld conditions. - Mixing Slurry and Vessel Interior Enamel: Inspect every 6 months to ensure no cracks or exposed iron; repairs can be made using high polymer composite materials like Fushilan if damaged. - Mechanical Seal: Check for wear every 3 months; replace if severe wear is detected. - Jacket: Perform a pressure test of 0.55 to 0.6 MPa every 12 months, maintaining pressure for 2 hours without leakage; inspect for jacket corrosion if used for over 3 years. - Gearbox: Change the oil every 24 months, maintaining oil level between 1/2 to 2/3. - External Corrosion Protection and Insulation: Inspect every 12 months to ensure no rust, proper corrosion protection, and intact insulation.

Special Notice: During the operation of glass-lined reactors, the enamel coating may be damaged due to factors such as corrosion and temperature changes. In cases of large-scale peeling, it may be necessary to return the reactor for re-enameling, which is costly and impacts production. At this point, consider using high polymer composite materials for on-site rapid repair to avoid the loss of equipment scrapping.
