(1) It is crucial to have a clear understanding of heavy-duty scaffolding. Generally, if the floor thickness exceeds 300mm, it should be considered to design it as heavy-duty scaffolding. The vertical rods of the climbing formwork are made of Φ48×3.2mm steel pipes. Standard rods are to be selected as much as possible, and for the floor height of this project, the standard model A2400 standard rods are chosen for connection to meet the height of the formwork frame. Since each vertical rod is equipped with a connecting sleeve, the total length of a single rod will increase by 100mm. Therefore, when selecting the vertical rods, the increased length should be considered to avoid overly long rods.
