    Eco-bags are bags made from non-woven fabric processed with double-sided heat-set needle-punched technique, utilizing raw materials such as polypropylene (PP) or polyester fiber (PET). They are characterized by their moisture resistance, non-absorbent nature, and non-solubility in polluted liquids, and are primarily used for constructing flexible eco-slopes.

    · In slope engineering, geotextile bags can replace materials like stones and cement, significantly reducing the project costs. By adding grass seeds inside the geotextile bags and after filling the soil, the slope can grow greenery over time, achieving a landscaping effect on the excavated slope, creating a natural ecological slope. The bags have a filtering function that allows water to pass through but not soil, resulting in a slope with high permeability. This slope provides strong protection and stability against soil erosion, localized mud (and) rock flows, and slope collapses, making it a high-stability natural slope.

  • Ecological bags currently do not have a separate specification; they follow the execution standards for geotextiles, with short fibers referring to GB/T 17638-1998 and long fibers to GB/T 17639-2008.
    · Common specifications for eco-bags include 810*430, with fabric weight ranging widely, typically including 100g, 125g, and 150g.
    · Volume calculation formula for the formed soil in eco-bags:
    Length = Eco Bag Length - (12~15) cm
    Width = 0.7 * Eco Bag width
    Height = Eco-Bag Height x 0.4
    For example, a bag with an outer diameter specification of 810mm x 430mm will measure approximately 65cm in length, 30cm in width, and 15cm in height after filled with soil (The final dimensions after filling with soil for eco-bags can be customized according to actual requirements. A tolerance of up to 2% is allowed.)
