When used as the main building material, the radioactive nuclide limits of the bricks should comply with the provisions of GB6566-2010 "Radioactive Nuclide Limits of Building Materials." When the specific activity of the naturally occurring radioactive nuclides radium-226, thorium-232, and potassium-40 in the main building material simultaneously meet IRa≤1.0 and Ir≤1.0, there are no restrictions on their production, sales, and usage. For main building materials with an empty rate greater than 25%, when the specific activity of the naturally occurring radioactive nuclides radium-226, thorium-232, and potassium-40 simultaneously meet IRa≤1.0 and Ir≤1.3, there are no restrictions on their production, sales, and usage.

1.1 Grading

1.1.1 Blocks are divided into two grades: Grade A (Excellent) and Grade B (Qualified), based on size tolerance, appearance quality, dry density, compressive strength, and frost resistance.

1.1.2 Blocks are categorized by strength into seven levels: A1.0, A2.0, A2.5, A3.5, A5.0, A7.5, and A10.

1.1.3 Blocks are classified into six grades according to dry density: B03, B04, B05, B06, B07, and B08.
