Exterior Insulation and Finishing System (EIFS) boards

The system structure of the external wall insulation board mainly consists of: the bonding layer, insulation layer, finishing layer, decorative layer, and accessories.

The adhesive layer is an essential component of construction, positioned between the base and surface layers. It primarily uses cementitious materials to firmly bond the two layers together, with its fillers mainly derived from inorganic substances.

Insulation material is applied externally to turbines and pipelines to prevent and reduce heat loss from the steam turbine to the environment. The primary filling consists of a certain amount of organic matter, moisture, and adhesive.

The surface layer should be chosen with light-weight functional coatings such as decorative mortar or accentitious plaster, or breathable water-based exterior paints, thereby maintaining the lightweight characteristic of the rock wool composite board while enhancing its aesthetic appeal.

　　The accessories mainly utilize various coatings, which not only enhance the surface color of the mineral wool composite board, making it adaptable to any environment, but also offer flame-retardant and thermal insulation properties to some extent.
