Features of the Rotating RTO:

The rotary RTO furnace utilizes ten fixed heat exchange medium beds (numbered 1-10#). The heat exchange medium is a regenerative ceramic material. Wastegases from the production line pass through four ceramic medium beds (1-4# as the intake area) and are heated. After entering the furnace, the high-temperature gases that combust heat four other beds (6-9# as the exhaust area). Correspondingly, Beds 5# and 10# serve as the sweeping area. Under the action of the rotating switching valve, the two sets of ceramic medium bed numbers cycle (e.g., 2-5# as the intake area, 7-10# as the exhaust area, 6# and 1# as the sweeping area, and so on). This interchanging of the two heat exchange medium beds, after storing heat, is used to heat low-temperature wastegases. Since each directional change alters the airflow direction of 25% of the ceramic medium, it effectively reduces the wind pressure fluctuations at the RTO's inlet and outlet, having minimal impact on the front-end production line pressure, making it more suitable for coating lines. Additionally, due to the internal design of the sweeping air duct in the switching valve, the decomposition rate is higher than that of a tower-type RTO, achieving a decomposition rate of over 99% for organic wastegases. This ultimately ensures that the exhaust emissions comply with China's environmental protection standards. The heat exchange efficiency reaches over 95%. If the concentration of organic wastegases is sufficient, it is easy to achieve self-sustaining operation of the oxidation furnace without the need for any fuel.
