Fiberglass steel cable brackets are steel structures made from composite materials that use synthetic resin as the binder and glass fiber and its products as reinforcing materials. They are suitable for cable laying in various cable cross-section applications and offer excellent tensile and bending strength.

Glass fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP), also known as glass steel (FRP), are composite materials made with synthetic resins as the binder and glass fibers and their products as reinforcing materials. Due to their high strength, they can be compared to steel, hence the alternate name.

◆ The specific gravity of lightweight high-strength glass fiber reinforced plastic is only 1.4-2.0, which is only 1/4-1/6 of ordinary steel, about 1/3 lighter than aluminum, yet its mechanical strength can reach or exceed that of ordinary carbon steel. For instance, certain epoxy and unsaturated polyester glass fiber reinforced plastics can achieve tensile and bending strengths of over 400 MPa. When calculated by specific strength, they have reached or exceeded the levels of some special alloy steels.

Chemical Resistance: Unlike ordinary metals, glass fiber reinforced plastics have a different electrochemical corrosion mechanism. They are non-conductive, and no ions will dissolve in electrolyte solutions, thus demonstrating excellent chemical stability in media such as air, water, and dilute concentrations of acids, bases, and salts. They are particularly adaptable to strong non-oxidizing acids and within a wide range of pH values. Media that were previously difficult to handle with stainless steel, such as hydrochloric acid, carbon dioxide, dilute sulfuric acid, sodium hypochlorite, and sulfur dioxide, can now be effectively managed using glass fiber reinforced plastics.

This product is molded from glass fiber roving preforms, ensuring reliable processing and adapting to automated and mechanized production requirements, thus improving working conditions and providing a new route for producing special-shaped polyester glass fiber reinforced plastics. The finished products have accurate dimensions, smooth surfaces, standardized parameters, and stable quality.

Product Performance

1. High Strength: The designable glass fiber reinforced composite materials are mainly composed of glass fibers, which serve as the reinforcing element, and thermosetting resins, which act as the binder. The tensile strength of the glass fibers is very high (3450 MPa), and their content, length, and laying method determine the strength of the finished products.

2. Thermosetting: The strength of glass fiber reinforced composite materials can range from 30 to 1000 MPa, thus, we can design the amount, length, and laying method of glass fiber based on the stress condition of the product, production volume, consumption process, and price tolerance.

3. Non-Creep: The rigidity of the glass fiber reinforced composite material bracket is twice that of the fiber reinforced bracket used by a certain American company. It does not deform or exhibit downward tilting even under long-term loads.

4. Fire Resistance: Oxygen Index is a crucial testing method for evaluating the fire-resistant properties of cable products. The Oxygen Index refers to the burn resistance of fire-resistant products under high oxygen conditions. In engineering applications, it should be determined based on the extinguishing intensity.

5. Corrosion-resistant: The glass fiber reinforced composite material bracket is highly resistant to corrosion, particularly suitable for use in humid, salt fog, acidic, and weak alkaline environments.

6. Electrical Insulation: Insulation performance can be adjusted according to application requirements.

a) Electrical Insulation: Insulation resistance greater than 1000 GΩ

b) Anti-static property: Surface resistance less than 10 GΩ.

7. Convenience Utilization

a) Equipped with a pre-drilled screw or shrinkage screw installation. Significantly reduces the labor intensity of employees.

8. Service Life: Public for 50 years, above ground for 20 years
