The project employs the biofilm method: anaerobic - aerobic (A/O) treatment process. The A/O process, which stands for anaerobic + aerobic biological contact oxidation, is a mature biological treatment technology with high volume load, fast biological degradation speed, small land occupation, low infrastructure investment and operation costs. It can replace the conventional activated sludge method used in existing urban wastewater treatment, and is suitable for the treatment of medium to high concentration industrial wastewater. It offers cost savings, less land usage, and high treatment efficiency. This process combines biological contact oxidation with sedimentation, ensuring a mature and reliable technology. Sedimentation sludge in the equipment is further oxidized and decomposed due to the dissolved oxygen, with some of it being extracted and sedimented in the sand sedimentation pond. The sludge in the system only requires periodic extraction from the sand sedimentation pond. The operating procedures of the main control equipment such as fans and submersible pumps are input into the PLC to achieve automatic operation, reducing the workload and minimizing unnecessary human damage.
