The Values (Numbers) program has been a part of the Easy-Laser® system from the start. To fully utilize this program, you should use measurement units equipped with dot laser technology. For certain applications, a standalone laser emitter (such as the D22) can read numbers in both vertical and horizontal directions. It can also be used with a line laser unit to read numbers in one direction. Due to technical reasons, the measurement accuracy between units varies; you can choose to measure with a resolution of 0.001 millimeters, but 0.01 millimeters is typically sufficient.

Here are some examples demonstrating the flexibility and powerful features of the Easy-Laser® Values (Value) program:
Raising the end of the shaft and verifying the combined clearance in the bearings of the supporting shaft helps us understand how to align that specific machine.
◉ Place the measuring equipment at the 12 o'clock position, zero it out, and then loosen the flange installed on the pump (before the pump is filled with medium). Check if the stress on these joints affects the alignment of the equipment. Doing so, the pump and motor will "settle" over time, causing a shift in alignment, which may significantly reduce the machine's lifespan.
◉ Check the base for stability before powering on the machine; performing this action can prevent future issues.
◉ Record values over any interval to monitor changes, such as checking if the base of machinery experiences any alterations during loading. This involves dynamic inspections while in operation.
◉ If our measurement units (M and S) aim the laser beam at each other, then reset the measurement values and rotate the axes. If the axes are centered, the measurement values should always be lower, within the bearing clearance tolerance, allowing for a quick test without specifying any machine parameters.

Previously, engineers conducted a training course on the use of the XT series system (dot laser) on the gate bearing pivot points. Inspection revealed damaged sliding bearings, prompting efforts to identify the cause of the damage and gather data to assess the extent of the fault.

Installed Measurement Unit First, install the measurement unit as shown in the above image, with the transmitter at the center of rotation. Next, we launched the Values (numeric) program, rotated, and focused the beam cone to a point across the room. The distance between the bearings is approximately 14 meters, but these measurement units have a range of 20 meters, so there is ample margin. We did this on both sides to visually verify that they are correctly aligned towards each other, then performed the normal axis alignment, and obtained the deviation data.
