Planetary mixer is a new type, multi-functional homogenizing mixer, also a kind of chemical machinery. Chinese name: 行星搅拌机; English name: Planetary mixer

Operating Principle

Planetary mixers typically feature 2 or 3 multi-layered folding blades. As the blades revolve around, they also rotate independently, causing the material to flow up and down and around, resulting in a quick achievement of the mixing effect.

The planetary mixer's cylinder inner wall is precision machined on a large vertical lathe and then automatically polished by a large polishing machine, ensuring that the moving scraper on the planetary frame completely removes the material from the cylinder inner wall during rotation. This machine is particularly suitable for dissolving, mixing, blending, and polymerizing materials such as pastes, high-viscosity, and high-density substances.

Performance Features

1. Vacuum-resistant: Allows material to be operated under vacuum conditions.

2. The reactor vessel can be heated by electricity, steam, water, and oil circulation. The unique temperature detection device on the drive shaft ensures that the material temperature error is less than ±1°C. The jacket, bottom jacket, and internal coil of the jacket can be cooled; 3. The inner wall of the reactor vessel is precision machined on a large lathe and then automatically polished by a large polishing machine, ensuring that the moving scraper (suitable for sealant) on the planetary frame completely removes the material from the inner wall of the reactor vessel during rotation; 4. The helical frame-type stirrer (paddle to paddle, paddle to vessel wall spacing 3-4mm) with multiple blades rotates both in a circular motion and in an axisymmetric motion, causing the material to flow up and down and around, achieving mixing (mixing) effects in a very short time; 5. The circular and self-rotating motion of the stirrer in the reactor is achieved using variable frequency speed control (variable frequency motor), which allows for different speeds based on various processes and different viscosities. The speed measurement system directly provides the current speed of the stirrer.
