Vacuum kneading machines are primarily used in the chemical production fields where materials like silicone, glass glue base, butyl rubber, and hot melt adhesive are prone to bubble formation. They are an important branch of the kneading machine series and have developed a mature industrial chain in China.
The working principle of the vacuum kneading machine is achieved through the strong shearing action generated by a pair of interlocking and rotating Sigma (or Z-shaped) blades, which allows semi-dry or rubbery, sticky plastics to react quickly, resulting in a uniformly mixed and stirred material.
The vacuum kneading machine uses methods such as electric heating, steam, oil heating, and water cooling for temperature control. It features hydraulic tilting and lid opening. Discharge options include hydraulic, tilting drum, ball valve, and screw extrusion.
