Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Bio-Odor Elimination Box Overview
The fiberglass bio-odor removal box is made of fiberglass, with the internal chamber utilizing bio-fill material as a carrier. This allows microorganisms to form a biofilm on the bio-fill surface in a suitable environment. The microorganisms in the biofilm use inorganic and organic substances from the waste gases as carbon and energy sources. By decomposing malodorous substances, they maintain their life activities and break down the malodorous substances into odorless substances such as carbon dioxide, water, and minerals, achieving the goal of purifying the malodorous gases.
2. Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Odor Removal Bio-Oxidation Box Odor Removal Principle
Malodorous substances are generally classified into sulfur compounds, nitrogen compounds, and oxygenated organic matter (such as alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, phenols, and organic acids), based on their composition. Due to the presence of active groups, these substances are prone to chemical reactions, especially oxidation. After the active groups are oxidized, the odor disappears, and the bio-odour removal process is based on this principle.
3. Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) Bio-Odor Elimination Process
Malodorous Gas Collection Device → Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Bio-Odor Removal Box → Exhaust Fan → Standard Emission → Filter with Regular Sludge Discharge.
3. Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Bio-Odour Removal Process Description
Malodorous gases are collected through pipelines and then enter a glass fiber reinforced plastic bio-odor removal box. During the passage through the bio-filler layer, the gas flow and circulating liquid complete the three processes of biological gas-liquid diffusion, liquid back diffusion, and biological oxidation. Microorganisms in the bio-film on the surface of the bio-filler use malodorous gases as nutrients. The malodorous substances and VOCs are oxidized and decomposed by the microorganisms, producing energy during the transformation process, which provides energy for the growth and reproduction of the microorganisms, ensuring the continuous transformation of malodorous substances. The purified gas is then extracted and emitted by the induced draft fan.
4. Features of Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) Bio-Aroma Removal Box
(1) Fully automatic control, stable performance, no need for dedicated operation.
(2) Utilizing durable biological fillers, microorganisms can grow on the nutrients in the washing solution and on the malodorous substances in the gas without the need for additional nutrient supplements. The ecological conditions of the biofilm are stable, with a high biomass per unit volume, and the microbial community possesses strong biological adsorption and oxidation capabilities. It has excellent shock resistance, decomposes malodorous substances quickly and efficiently.
(3) The cabinet features a modular structure, allowing on-site construction for easy installation.
(4) Unique gas distribution method ensures even distribution, achieving purification in just 20 seconds with an overall purification efficiency of over 95%.
5. Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Bio-Odor Removal Box Application Range
Glass fiber reinforced plastic bio-odor control boxes are suitable for odor control in municipal wastewater treatment plants, sewage pumping stations, garbage disposal plants (stations), petrochemicals, food processing, painting, printing, textile dyeing and finishing, leather processing, and other production industries.
