Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Bio-Odor Removal Box Overview
The fiberglass bio-odor removal box is made of fiberglass, with the internal chamber utilizing bio-fillers as a carrier. This allows microorganisms to form a biofilm on the surface of the bio-fillers in a suitable environment. The microorganisms in the biofilm utilize inorganic and organic substances in the waste gas as carbon and energy sources. By degrading malodorous substances, they maintain their life activities and decompose the malodorous substances into odorless by-products such as carbon dioxide, water, and minerals, achieving the goal of purifying malodorous gases.
2. Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Bio-Odor Removal Box Odor Removal Principle
Offensive substances are generally categorized based on their composition into sulfur compounds, nitrogen compounds, and oxygenated organic matter (such as alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, phenols, and organic acids). Due to the presence of active groups, these substances are prone to chemical reactions, particularly oxidation. Once the active groups are oxidized, the odor disappears, which is the principle behind biological deodorization processes.
3. Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Biological Odor Removal Process
Malodorous Gas Collection Device → Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Bio-Odor Removal Box → Exhaust Fan → Compliance with Emission Standards → Filter and Sludge Regular Discharge.
3. FRP Bio-Odor Removal Process Description
Malodorous gases are collected through pipelines and then enter a glass fiber reinforced plastic bio-odor removal box. During the process of passing through the bio-media layer, the air flow and circulating liquid complete three processes: biological gas-liquid diffusion, liquid back diffusion, and biological oxidation. Microorganisms in the bio-film on the surface of the bio-media use the malodorous gas substances as nutrients. The malodorous substances and VOCs are oxidized and decomposed by the microorganisms, producing energy during the transformation process, which provides energy for the growth and reproduction of the microorganisms, ensuring the continuous transformation of the malodorous gas substances. The purified gas is then exhausted by a blower.
4. Features of FRP Bio-Odor Removal Box
(1) Fully automated control, stable performance, no need for dedicated operator.
(2) Utilizing durable biological fillers, microorganisms can grow by relying on nutrients in the detergent and malodorous substances in the gas without the need for additional nutrient supplements. The ecological conditions of the biofilm are stable, with a high biomass per unit volume, and the microbial community has a strong ability for biological adsorption and oxidation, high resistance to shock, and fast and efficient decomposition of malodorous substances.
(3) The cabinet features a modular structure, allowing on-site construction and easy installation.
(4) Unique gas distribution method, even distribution, achieves purification in just 20 seconds, with a comprehensive purification efficiency of over 95%.
5. fiberglass biological deodorization box application scope
Fiberglass bio-odour removal boxes are suitable for the treatment of malodorous gases in various industries, including municipal wastewater treatment plants, sewage pumping stations, waste treatment facilities, oil and petrochemicals, food processing, coating, printing, textile dyeing and finishing, and leather processing.
