Turbine liner
95 Corundum ceramic is a special wear-resistant ceramic material formed through dry pressing and sintered at a high temperature of 1600°C. It boasts a Mohs hardness of 9, ranking second only to diamond. Our high-wear corundum ceramic-lined cyclone separator shells are made of Q235 steel, with the lining material being 95 corundum ceramic. This lining material features high hardness, impact resistance, temperature resistance, and resistance to acid and alkali corrosion. Its actual service life is over six times that of polyurethane, and it is particularly suitable for operations involving severe wear and tear, classification of coarse-grained materials, concentration, and dehydration. It has been successfully applied in numerous mines.
Advantages of cyclones with inner linings of high-alumina corundum abrasion-resistant ceramic plates
Not prone to deformation
The cyclone with a lining of high-alumina corundum wear-resistant ceramic lining plate (a-AL2O3) boasts a Mohs hardness of up to 9.0, equivalent to HRC90 or above. As a result, it exhibits excellent resistance to deformation for abrasive media transported in metallurgy, power, mining, coal, and other industries. Industrial operation has proven that its lifespan is ten times, even several tens of times, that of quenched steel.
2. Low running resistance
The inner lining is made of high-alumina corundum wear-resistant ceramic, which is smooth on the inner surface and free of rust, unlike the inner surface of seamless steel tubes which features convex spiral lines. After testing by relevant testing units, the smoothness of the inner surface is superior to any metallic pipeline, with a water resistance coefficient of 0.0193, slightly lower than that of seamless tubes.
3. Corrosion-resistant and scale-inhibiting
Due to the ceramic layer being (a-AL2O3), it possesses neutral characteristics. Hence, it exhibits resistance to both acid and alkali corrosion, as well as sea water erosion, while also featuring anti-scale properties.
4. Excellent temperature resistance and thermal shock resistance
Due to the monolithic and stable crystalline structure of this corundum ceramic (a-AL2O3), composite pipes can operate continuously over a long period within a temperature range of -50 to 700°C. The material's linear expansion coefficient is 6-8×10-6/°C, approximately half that of steel pipes.
Low construction cost
Alumina wear-resistant ceramic lined cyclones are lightweight and reasonably priced. They are 50% lighter than cast stone pipes of the same diameter and 20-30% lighter than wear-resistant alloy pipes.
