The function of curtain wall components is to pre-install (embed) them in concealed works, which are the components placed during the structural pouring process for the purpose of overlapping during the construction of the upper structure. This facilitates the installation and fixation of external engineering equipment foundations. Curtain wall components are generally made of metal, such as reinforcing steel or cast iron, but can also be made from non-metallic rigid materials like wood or plastic. Their uses include serving as connecting parts for fixed components in subsequent processes (such as doors, windows, curtain walls, water pipes, gas pipes, etc.). These are commonly found at the junctions between concrete structures and steel structures.
