The scraper operates inside the jacking pipe, requiring a compact machine with a low center of gravity. The design must allow for efficient excavation, advancement, collection, transportation, and loading/unloading in the arched cross-section of the jacking pipe. The 50-type scraper is a small-sized model in the scraper market, particularly suitable for waste removal operations within the jacking pipe. The scraper's blade is designed in an arched shape, and the scraper arm connection is also arched. Generally, scraper buckets have four teeth, but to avoid the two outer teeth on the bucket edge from colliding with the upper jacking pipe during scraping, Shentong engineers intentionally leave only the two middle teeth, effectively preventing collisions. In the excavation section, a telescopic hydraulic cylinder is used, with the arms slightly shorter than those of a standard model to accommodate the height of the jacking pipe.
