Design Qualifications
Architectural engineering design encompasses the general layout and individual design of civil buildings and general industrial buildings. This includes outdoor engineering design within the red line of building land, design of buildings and structures, underground engineering design integrated with urban construction and civil buildings, as well as planning and design of residential areas, factory forecourts, and factory living quarters. It also covers all related design contents included in the above architectural engineering projects. The qualification for architectural engineering design is divided into three levels: A, B, and C. In remote or economically underdeveloped areas, if it is indeed necessary to establish a D-level design qualification, it must be approved after the provincial, autonomous regional, or municipal construction administrative authorities report to the Ministry of Construction for consent.
