Chelated Iron Desulfurization Agent Features
(1) Complexed iron catalysts with a simple process, capable of converting hydrogen sulfide directly to sulfur by a single-step process; post-desulfurization, H2S content can be below 20ppm for various concentrations of H2S, demonstrating high efficiency in H2S removal.
(2) The system boasts strong anti-vibration capability. For traditional desulfurization units, when there is a significant fluctuation in hydrogen sulfide content in the raw gas, it can cause a considerable fluctuation in the hydrogen sulfide content of the purified gas at the outlet, even exceeding the standard. With its high sulfur capacity, the desulfurization unit can automatically handle such fluctuations without the need for manual operation or affecting the desulfurization efficiency.
(3) Low operating costs. Due to the recyclable and reusable ligand iron catalyst in various reagents used in the desulfurization process, without any side reactions, only a small amount of ligand iron catalyst lost during the desulfurization process needs to be replenished. The operating cost for producing one ton of sulfur is 800 yuan.
(4) The complex iron catalyst has high selectivity and low by-product salt generation. In the complex iron desulfurization process, the complex iron ions oxidize hydrogen sulfide to sulfur, resulting in few side reactions and a long lifespan for the reagent.
(5) The desulfurization working fluid has a high sulfur capacity. The newly developed chelated iron desulfurization agent, whose sulfur capacity in the desulfurization agent circulating fluid is unaffected by carbon dioxide, boasts a working sulfur capacity of up to 3.3 kg of sulfur per cubic meter of reagent, exceeding that of similar foreign technologies (the better ones have a working sulfur capacity of 0.37 kg of sulfur per cubic meter of reagent). Therefore, using the chelated iron desulfurization agent can significantly reduce the circulating fluid volume, decrease equipment size, and lower investment and operational costs.
(6) Removes organic sulfur (COS) and thiols.
(7) The equipment has a small size, enabling efficient modularization. Due to its high working sulfur capacity and compact design, it can effectively achieve modularization, making it particularly suitable for the modularization requirements of small projects.
(8) The catalyst has high safety, and the catalyst used in the system is non-toxic and harmless to the environment and humans, offering good environmental benefits.
(9) Well-established for industrial application. The complex iron desulfurization technology is currently performing well in the Liuhua Oilfield project of China National Offshore Oil Corporation.
