Metallic bellows have the advantages of simple system design, easy installation, and low cost. They can be used individually for axial or lateral compensation, but are not suitable for individual angular compensation. They are mainly used to compensate for the axial displacement of pipelines and a small amount of lateral displacement, as well as to reduce vibration and noise. However, when used in large-diameter pipe systems, due to excessive internal pressure thrust, special attention must be paid to the strength of the fixed supports to prevent the collapse of fixed supports.

Installation Precautions for Metal Bellows:

1. Absolutely no spatter from welding allowed to damage the corrugated tube.

2. Install according to the product flow markings.

3. The ends of the bellows must be reasonably equipped with guide supports and fixed supports. (See "Bellows Compensator Pipe System Support Settings")

4. Do not force-adjust installation errors in pipeline positions by utilizing the deformation of the bellows compensator.

Do not hoist using installed tie-down rods or limit rods.

6. After installation, remove the transportation rod and the limiting rod with the yellow marking.
