Feature Overview
The FKL type differential pressure orifice plate flow meter is a配套device specifically designed for measuring coal mine gas drainage flow, featuring a simple structure, safe and reliable operation, and is an economical equipment for gas flow measurement.
The series of differential pressure flowmeters can be equipped with bypasses during design and production, and butterfly valves can be installed on the bypasses. During normal gas extraction, the valves are open to reduce extraction resistance; when measuring the gas flow in the pipeline, the valves are closed to allow the medium to completely pass through the orifice plate for measurement purposes.
Working Principle
The gas flow in the gas pipeline is measured by the differential pressure method. When a continuously flowing fluid passes through a throttling device in the pipeline, the flow velocity increases, resulting in a static pressure difference √Ah between the upstream and downstream sides of the throttling device. There is a constant relationship between the flow rate and the pressure difference, given by Q = KV Ah. Therefore, by measuring the pressure difference with a differential pressure gauge, the flow rate of the fluid can be calculated.
