Function Overview
Mine tunnel automatic powder spray suppression device (passive tunnel suppression device) also known asActive Explosion Suppression Device。
A mine tunnel automatic powder spraying suppression device is a high-tech mining safety equipment that integrates rapid response, suppression of explosion, and intelligent control functions. The device is mainly composed of1 unit of mine tunnel explosion suppression device, 1 unit of explosion-proof pressure switch for mine tunnel explosion suppression device, and mine communication cables, installed in places with risks of gas and dust combustion or explosion. The pressure switch of this device can detect explosion information in advance; upon detecting combustion or explosion, it actively opens the tunnel explosion suppression device to instantly spray flame-retardant agent, forming a blast-proof barrier to prevent the spread of the explosion, thereby reducing the harm caused by gas or dust explosions. This protects the lives of coal mine workers and ensures the normal production of coal mines.
This series of equipment is inherently safe and can operate in underground coal mines with explosive gases like methane and dust, addressing the market gap in passive protection solutions such as area fire suppression devices and tunnel explosion-proof devices. The product has obtained a national patent.

Installation Location
Based onNB/T 11126-2023规范 for the application of active suppression and explosion-proof devices in coal mines requires that active suppression and explosion-proof devices be installed in areas (points) within the coal mine where fire sources are likely to occur and where gas and coal dust concentrations may exceed limits, leading to explosions, or in areas (points) where there is a high risk of exceeding gas and coal dust concentration limits and where fire sources may ignite explosions.
1. Intake and exhaust ducts should be equipped with active explosion suppression devices.
2. Active explosion suppression devices should be installed in the tunnels.
3. Active explosion suppression devices should be installed in other tunnels with risks of gas and coal dust explosions.
4. Install active explosion suppression devices in straight tunnels within 200m of the excavation face in mines with coal dust explosion hazards.
5. Active explosion suppression devices should be installed within 60 meters of intersections with other galleries posing a risk of gas and coal dust explosions, as well as at transitions and bends.
