The ZGJFH type automatic explosion suppression device for underground coal mines can protect against local disasters in coal mines. When an explosion occurs, it detects the change in the shock pressure before the flame front and automatically activates to block and extinguish the flame, mitigating and extinguishing the explosion shock. It has a shorter response time and higher explosion suppression efficiency than traditional water-filled explosion suppression bags, and is easy to disassemble and relocate, providing time efficiency for the security of rapid tunneling systems. The corresponding specification of the storage cylinder can be selected according to the cross-sectional size of the usage area: 25kg to 90kg.

Operating Principle

During gas or coal dust explosions underground, the receiving disk 1 receives the shock wave signal, which drives the transmission device 2 to activate the triggering mechanism 3. This causes the main unit (powder horn cylinder) 4 to instantaneously eject ABC ultra-fine dry powder fire extinguishing agent, forming a barrier zone with an effective length of over 30 meters, in the form of fog to suppress and isolate the explosion. It blocks and extinguishes the flames, as well as preventing the propagation of the explosion within the tunnel.
High-efficiency super-fine dry powder fire extinguishing agent has small particle size, good fluidity, extended suspension time, excellent resistance to reignition, dispersion, and electrical insulation. The formed mist-like explosion-proof zone interrupts combustion and deflagration through both chemical and physical fire-suppression mechanisms, effectively addressing the issue of the failure of explosion-proof water bags due to the time difference between shock waves and flame presence. It confines explosions to the initial small area, thereby maximizing protection of life and property.
The complete unit is easy to disassemble, assemble, and relocate safely. It can be designed for hoisting methods on-site, ensuring even distribution with no blind spots, making it more suitable for explosion-proof security in rapid tunneling systems.
