Section 1: Product Introduction:

Glass fiber reinforced sand lined pipes are a new type of composite material made from unsaturated or vinyl resin as the matrix material, glass fiber yarn as the matrix reinforcement, and quartz sand as the filling material. They excel in their excellent corrosion resistance, hydraulic properties, lightweight strength, high flow capacity, ease of installation, short construction period, and low overall investment, making them a preferred choice for the chemical industry, drainage projects, and pipeline engineering.

Section II: Product Advantages:

The product is made of highly corrosion-resistant resin, offering superior mechanical properties and processing characteristics, making it resistant to the侵蚀 of most acidic, alkaline, saline seawater untreated wastewater, corrosive soils or groundwater, as well as numerous chemical substances.

Good heat and cold resistance properties:

At -30℃ temperatures, it maintains excellent flexibility and high strength, and can be used for long-term service within the range of -50℃ to 80℃. Special formula resins can be used up to 200℃.

Four: Excellent wear resistance.

The wear resistance of glass steel pipes is excellent. Tests have proven this: by filling the pipe with water containing a large amount of mud and sand, and conducting a rotational wear comparison test. After 300,000 rotations, the wear depth on the inner wall of the pipe was measured as follows: 0.53mm for steel pipes coated with tar and瓷oil; 0.48mm for steel pipes treated with surface hardening; 0.21mm for glass steel pipes. This demonstrates the superior wear resistance of glass steel pipes.

Five: Excellent thermal insulation properties.

Due to the low thermal conductivity of fiberglass products, they exhibit exceptional thermal insulation properties.

Six: Post-curing Antistain Resistance

During use, it resists scaling, corrosion, and is not contaminated or infested by marine or sewage-borne microorganisms such as shellfish and fungi.

Interface is minimal, installation efficiency is high:

The standard length of the pipeline is typically 6-12m per piece (special lengths can also be produced upon customer request). Longer individual pipes result in fewer joints, which speeds up installation, reduces malfunctions, and enhances the overall quality of the pipeline assembly.

Section 8: Low density, lightweight:

Fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) pipes, produced by filament winding, have a density ranging from 1.65 to 2, which is only 1/4 of steel. However, their hoop tensile strength is 180-300 MPa and axial tensile strength is 60-150 MPa, similar to alloy steel. Thus, their specific strength (strength/density) is 2-3 times that of alloy steel. This allows them to be designed to meet various internal and external pressure requirements according to customer specifications. For pipes of the same diameter, the weight of FRP pipes is only 1/2.5 of carbon steel pipes (steel plate coiled), 1/3.5 of cast iron pipes, and approximately 1/8 of prestressed concrete steel bar pipes, making transportation and installation very convenient.

Nine: Excellent mechanical properties, superior insulation performance.

The tensile strength of the pipeline is lower than steel but higher than ductile iron pipes and concrete pipes. Its specific strength is about three times that of steel pipes, ten times that of ductile iron pipes, and twenty-five times that of concrete pipes. Additionally, its thermal conductivity is only 1% of that of steel pipes, offering excellent insulation properties. It is suitable for use in areas with dense power and telecommunication lines and frequent lightning strikes.

Ten: Excellent hydraulic performance, energy-saving

Sandwiched glass steel pipes feature a smooth inner surface, making them suitable for large diameter (≥φ500mm) water conveyance pipelines. They have a low friction coefficient and excellent hydraulic fluid characteristics, with their advantages becoming more pronounced as the pipe diameter increases. Conversely, when the same flow rate is required in pipeline transportation, smaller diameter sandwiched glass steel pipes can be used in place of larger ones, thereby reducing the initial engineering investment. Compared to other piping materials during water conveyance, sandwiched glass steel pipes can significantly reduce head loss, saving pump power and energy.
