Cable protection pipes are a type of pipeline made by resin as the matrix and continuous glass fiber and its fabric as the reinforcing material. They are formed through computer-controlled winding or pulling process. They have a high usage rate in cable laying due to their obvious advantages, such as high strength, corrosion resistance, and a smooth inner wall that doesn't scratch cables.
I. Product Features:
1. High strength, suitable for direct burial under traffic lanes without the need for a concrete protective layer, capable of accelerating the construction progress.
2. Excellent resilience, capable of withstanding external heavy pressure and foundation settlement-induced damage.
3. Excellent electrical insulation, flame retardant, and heat-resistant properties; can be used at high temperatures up to 130 degrees Celsius without deformation over long periods.
4. Corrosion-resistant and long-lasting, it can withstand the侵蚀 of acidic, alkaline, saline, and organic solvent corrosive mediums, with a lifespan up to 50 years.
5. Interior wall is smooth, preventing cable scratches. Rubber sealing ring with plug-in joints for easy installation and connection, and adaptable to thermal expansion and contraction.
6. Low weight and compact size, easily lifted by one person and installed by two, significantly reducing construction time and installation costs. It also avoids issues such as prolonged road excavation and disruption of urban traffic flow.
7. Non-electrolytic corrosion, non-magnetic. Unlike steel pipes and other magnetic materials, it does not produce eddy currents that cause cables to heat up and fail.
II. Structural Features:
(1) Offers excellent corrosion resistance; does not require cathodic protection or other corrosion prevention measures; will not cause secondary pollution to water and other media. The product has a long service life.
(2) Lightweight, the pipe's weight is only 1/4 of the same size and length Ductile Iron Pipe and 1/10 of cement pipe. Easy to transport, handle, and install.
(3) Long pipeline length per piece reduces joints, speeds up installation, and improves overall pipeline quality.
(4) The inner wall of the pipe is smooth, reducing flow resistance, improving flow velocity, and lowering energy consumption. By using a smaller diameter pipe to convey the same volume of fluid, compared to pipes of the same specification, it can increase the flow rate by about 10%; it does not scale, and its flow rate remains unchanged over long-term use. It also provides good protection for cables in corrosive environments.
