YBW-40.5 Type Outdoor Substation Box
I. Product Overview
The YBW-12 model outdoor box substation (abbreviated as "box substation") is a compact integrated power distribution unit composed of high-voltage electrical equipment, power transformers, low-voltage electrical equipment, auxiliary equipment, and their connecting parts, all housed within a single box. It is suitable for 12/0.4kV (6/0.4kV) rated voltage three-phase AC systems for the purpose of accepting and distributing electrical energy. Particularly suited for urban public power distribution, high-rise buildings, residential areas, industrial and mining enterprises, underground reservoirs, oilfield parks, highways, and construction sites. The YBW-12 box substation boasts technical advantages such as compact structure, strong integration, safe and reliable operation, easy maintenance, and aesthetic design. It meets the requirements of urban network power supply with its small footprint, easy mobility, short construction cycle, and ability to extend into the load center to reduce losses and save energy.

V. Product Structure Characteristics
Labeled diagram of the box transformer's external shape

· The basic structure of the box-type substation is divided into "eye" shape and "check" shape. The "check" shape structure has a wider high-voltage room, capable of achieving ring main supply or dual power supply methods. The "eye" shape structure has a wider low-voltage room, which can accommodate 5-6 low-voltage cabinets, with 15-26 circuit outlets that can be equipped with an internal operation corridor as shown in Figure 2. In the diagram, H represents the high-voltage room, T the transformer room, and L the low-voltage room.
· The cabinet frame of the box-type transformer substation is焊接 using channel steel and angle steel, offering high mechanical strength. The outer shell is made of 2mm thick aluminum alloy plate, new anti-corrosion colored steel composite board, stainless steel plate, multi-functional plant fiber reinforced cement pressure board, and glass fiber special cement board. Users can choose options with good corrosion resistance, which can be colored on the surface to match the surrounding environment.
· The unit features excellent heat insulation and ventilation measures. The top cover of the housing is equipped with an insulating layer made of a new flame-retardant material, 30-50mm thick, in the sandwich layer, which effectively prevents solar radiation. An automatic-controlled axial flow fan is installed at the top of the transformer room to ensure the transformer operates at full load during the hot season. To better protect the transformer, an over-temperature trip device is added to the high-voltage protective switch.
· Exterior door lock for boxes, featuring a weatherproof, clog-proof, rust-proof, and theft-proof lock. Once the exterior door is opened, it can be positioned at the door opening position.
· Rubber gaskets installed on the outer door frame, rain gutters around the top of the box, and a pagoda-shaped rubber ring added to the cable entry/exit ports at the bottom effectively prevent rain, dust, and small animals, ensuring reliable operation of electrical equipment.
· Transformer room can accommodate tracks and transformer trolleys for easy installation and replacement.
· The high-voltage section of the box-type transformer is equipped with our company's HXGN-10 expandable ring main unit, which can be fitted with ABB's NALF-17.5 or LK's LK-VLBS or FN16-10 types of load switches, featuring easy operation and high reliability.
· Transformer room is equipped with two doors; the internal network door is of an opening type. The metal mesh is galvanized, with a pore diameter of 8mm, ensuring the personal safety of patrol personnel.
· High-voltage incoming line solutions include cable underground entry and overhead entry, while low-voltage outgoing lines are typically cable outgoing lines.
· The cabinet is lifted using a below-hoisting method, ensuring smooth and reliable lifting.
