1. Main Functions: High Temperature, High Pressure, Molding
2. Principle of Operation: The vacuum hot pressing furnace is a complete set of equipment that shapes materials into a form under vacuum (or other atmosphere) conditions. It primarily uses graphite resistance heating and a hydraulic cylinder-driven ram for upper and lower pressure application. Under high temperatures, the interlocking of solid particles in the material's green body increases the grain size, and the gaps (porosity) and grain boundaries decrease. Through material transfer, the overall volume of the material shrinks and its density increases, ultimately forming a dense polycrystalline sintered body with a certain microstructure, thereby shaping the material.
3. Furnace Structure: The furnace features a double-layer cylindrical vertical structure, with the inner wall made of 304 stainless steel and precision polished, the outer wall of high-quality carbon steel. Water cooling is provided between the inner and outer walls to ensure the wall temperature remains below 55°C. The side of the furnace is equipped with a vacuum extraction port and observation windows with baffles.
4. Furnace Door Style: The furnace door features a double-layer water-cooled side-opening structure (easy for mold loading and unloading), with the inner wall made of 304 stainless steel and precision polished, the outer wall of high-quality carbon steel, water-cooled between the inner and outer walls, and a pressure head sealing seat on the furnace top.
5. Temperature Control: The touch screen PLC control system adheres to IEC standards and features selected electrical and measuring components, offering simple and intuitive operation. It includes: 1 complete control cabinet, with: buttons, indicator lights, alarms, circuit breakers, contactors, cable trays, etc. The furnace operates with automatic interlock and alarm for low water pressure, over-temperature, and overcurrent, as well as protection to cut off the main power supply. Alarm status is indicated by both sound and light.

Furnace Insulation Material: Polycrystalline alumina ceramic fiber furnace chamber, with excellent thermal insulation properties, ensuring optimal temperature uniformity and even heating of workpieces, and facilitating the maintenance and replacement of heating elements; furnace vacuum吸附 molding technology, using a multi-piece semi-circular structure assembly; rational step sealing design forms a good thermal insulation system.
8. Heating Electrodes: These heating electrodes are specially designed from purple copper, ensuring not only excellent sealing and insulation with the furnace body but also a good connection with the power supply lines, with easy disassembly. The new electrode structure prevents copper tube corrosion and weld joint corrosion, which can lead to leakage over long-term use.
9. Pressure System: The press is composed of columns and horizontal beams. The pressure cylinder is mounted on the beams, the furnace body is supported by the furnace stand, and is fixed to the lower beam. The beams undergo rigorous mechanical processing to ensure the precision of pressure application at the upper and lower heads. The pressure system consists of a hydraulic station, pressure cylinder, pressure sensor, pressure displacement sensor, etc., and is controlled by solenoid valves via a control system. The displacement sensor uses a grating scale. The gauge can manually adjust the pressure (standard configuration) or automatically regulate the pressure to achieve stable and maintained pressure.
10. Water Cooling System: The water cooling system consists of inlet and return pipes, electric contact pressure gauges, valves, and pipelines. It supplies vacuum units, furnace bodies, heating electrodes, etc., through the pipelines. The water cooling system is connected to the control system, which automatically triggers an audible and visual alarm and cuts off the heating power supply when the water pressure is low, ensuring the safety of the equipment. The backup water supply for the equipment is provided by the customer, with a flow rate of ≥10m³/h.
11. Application Range: This hot pressing sintering furnace can also integrate vacuum/ambient, hot pressing molding, and high-temperature sintering, suitable for high-temperature thermal forming of new materials such as powder metallurgy and functional ceramics.
12. Application Industry: Used for vacuum sintering of metals such as transparent ceramics and industrial ceramics, as well as alloys composed of refractory metals, and for high-temperature sintering of ceramic materials like silicon carbide and silicon nitride. It is also applicable for heat treatment of powders or preforms at temperatures below the melting point of the main components, with the purpose of enhancing strength through metallurgical bonding between particles.

14. Optional Configurations:
1) Vacuum System: The vacuum system is equipped with a -8 vane-type mechanical pump, vacuum butterfly valve, vacuum gauge, vacuum pressure gauge, vacuum vent valve, and vacuum piping, with an air-inlet interface provided. To minimize furnace vibration, the connection between the vacuum piping and the pump uses a metal bellows. Vacuum measurement is conducted by a resistance vacuum gauge.
2) Inflating Unit: (Optional) The inflating unit (excluding gas drying, gas filtering, and exhaust gas treatment systems) consists mainly of inflating valves, float flowmeters, inflating pipes, etc., used to meet the atmosphere requirements of argon or nitrogen gas for the process. Maximum inflating pressure ≤ 0.1 MPa (absolute pressure).
