I. MBR Technology Description

Due to the extensive consumption of global water resources and the increasing scarcity of freshwater, countries are actively seeking more advanced wastewater recycling and reuse technologies to address the growing global water crisis; thus, MBR technology has emerged in response.

The Membrane Bioreactor (MBR), abbreviated as MBR, is a novel wastewater treatment technology created by combining modern ultrafiltration membrane technology with traditional activated sludge process. The MBR replaces the conventional secondary sedimentation tank with ultrafiltration membrane units, effectively retaining all suspended solids and colloids, ensuring that sludge settlement does not affect the effluent water quality, and achieving complete separation of sludge and water. The introduction of membrane units increases the concentration of activated sludge in the aeration tank, enhancing the rate of biological degradation, reducing the F/M ratio, and significantly decreasing the amount of excess sludge produced. The effluent from the MBR has much lower COD and other pollutant levels compared to traditional activated sludge processes, with an overall removal rate of pollutants exceeding 90%, and the turbidity of the effluent typically being less than 1 NTU.

Due to the high-quality effluent, wastewater treated by MBR can be directly reused for car washing, landscaping irrigation, toilet flushing, landscape entertainment water, sanitation water, and industrial cooling water, thereby conserving water resources. The MBR effluent, after further advanced treatment, can also be used for domestic and production water, effectively realizing the resource utilization of wastewater.

The MBR-Z series intelligent integrated membrane bioreactor is our company's new generation product developed based on MBR technology. It is an integrated water treatment system that organically combines membrane separation technology, biological treatment technology, and intelligent control technology.

This product overcomes the drawbacks of traditional wastewater treatment processes, such as long procedures, large land area requirements, and complex operation and management. It boasts compact structure, attractive appearance, stability, reliability, small land footprint, low operating costs, high level of automation, and easy maintenance and operation; particularly, the effluent water quality is excellent, exceeding the standards for reclaimed water.

The MBR membrane module utilizes state-of-the-art ultra-high flux filtration technology, achieving a filtration precision of 0.1-0.5um. It boasts high water flux and stable output water quality, with turbidity typically less than 1 NTU. Additionally, it maximizes the uniformity of the membrane pore size.

Utilizing a high-intensity film-forming process, the film yarn material is elastic and has good flexibility, capable of withstanding long-term continuous high-speed water and bubble flow impacts.

MBR membranes can withstand nearly all known chemicals, enabling complex water filtration; they can be chemically cleaned using high-concentration strong oxidizers.

The membrane module interface is straightforward, easy to install; it can completely replace the same type of membrane module (without replacing the frame).
