The Dual-Union Full Plastic Horizontal Water Jet Vacuum Unit is an extended high vacuum extraction product based on the Single-Union Unit, with an extraction capacity of up to 1200 m/h. It can also be used as a backup for workstations. The Dual-Union Unit, while maintaining the characteristics of the Single-Union Unit, adds an iron bracket base (made of No. 8 channel steel), enlarges the water tank, and adds butterfly valves to meet the more diverse needs of users.

1. Limited space requires operation under high vacuum conditions. For instance, during the initial stage of material reaction, two vacuum pumps can be turned on to achieve the required vacuum volume, thereby reducing the reaction time, saving energy, and improving product quality and output. In the later stage of the material reaction, when less gas is produced, one vacuum pump can be turned off to achieve the same energy-saving effect.
2. At critical workstations, one vacuum pump from the twin-unit set can serve as a standby pump. In the event that one is damaged and requires repair, the other can be used directly, without affecting production.

The water jet vacuum unit, due to its simple structure, ease of maintenance, and excellent corrosion resistance, is widely used in chemical, pesticide, pharmaceutical, and other enterprises. It should be noted that, under normal operation, the maintenance cost of a water jet vacuum unit is very low. However, you may have encountered a situation like this: My unit was operating normally, and the water temperature was not too high, but suddenly, the mechanical seal burned out, the impeller melted, and the pump body or cover also melted away. In no time, a polypropylene centrifugal pump was destroyed, and a thousand or even several thousand yuan was gone. In such a case, you might blame the staff for not taking good care of the equipment, but they might also be innocent.
In the absence of dry friction caused by mechanical seals, a significant portion of the issue may stem from the vaporization of liquid within the pump under certain conditions (resulting in localized vacuum within the pump), or from a high gas content in the liquid being pumped. This vapor or gas accumulates on the cooling surface of the mechanical seal, leading to localized dry friction during normal operation. Within seconds, the seal, operating at 2900 RPM, rapidly heats up to 300-400 degrees Celsius or higher.
