PC boards are resistant to neutral oils but not to strong acids, durability, or alkalis; they require a UV coating. However, they are heat-resistant and offer excellent light transmittance. PC Sunboards (also called polycarbonate honeycomb boards, glass Kapton boards, or PC honeycomb boards) are made from high-performance engineering plastic – polycarbonate (PC) resin. They feature high transparency, lightweight, impact resistance, sound insulation, heat insulation, flame resistance, and aging resistance. They are a high-tech energy-saving and environmentally friendly plastic panel, widely used in international plastic building materials. They possess advantages that cannot be compared to other decorative building materials (such as glass and acrylic).
