Overview of Nitrogen Sealing Device (Nitrogen Sealing Valve)
The nitrogen-sealing device (nitrogen-sealing valve) is typically composed of three main parts: the nitrogen supply valve, the nitrogen exhaust valve, and the breathing valve.
When the pressure inside the tank increases (due to incoming material, rising liquid level) beyond the set value of the nitrogen supply valve, the valve closes. Once the pressure reaches the set value for the nitrogen release valve, it opens to rapidly release the excess pressure inside the tank. When the tank's pressure decreases, the nitrogen release valve remains closed, and the nitrogen supply valve opens to inject nitrogen into the tank, ensuring the tank maintains a slight positive pressure. The pressure of the nitrogen source for the nitrogen supply valve is kept at a fixed value between 0.2 and 0.8 MPa. When the on-site pressure is high, an automatic pressure-reducing valve can be installed before the nitrogen supply valve to reduce the pressure to between 0.2 and 0.8 MPa, enhancing reliability and performance.

As shown in the image above, 1. The pressure tapping pipe for the nitrogen valve should be installed at the top of the storage tank and a pressure gauge should be added nearby; this ensures that the pressure inside the storage tank accurately reflects in the diaphragm chamber of the nitrogen valve, enabling precise and timely operation of the valve. It is advisable to avoid installing the pressure tapping point on the pipeline after the valve, as the pressure difference between the storage tank and the pipeline can cause delays and instability in the operation of the nitrogen valve.
