Portable Harmful Gas Detector

The instrument integrates sensors, measuring circuits, displays, alarms, rechargeable batteries, and suction pumps into one housing, creating a compact, lightweight, portable device that allows for suction sampling and on-the-go monitoring. The pocket-sized instrument is a portable unit. Typically, it does not have a pump for diffused sampling and is powered by dry cells, making it compact in size.

2. Fixed-Position Harmful Gas Detector

This equipment is fixed on-site and can continuously and automatically detect harmful gases. Should the levels exceed the limit, the system will automatically trigger an alarm. Some models can also automatically control exhaust fans. Fixed equipment can be categorized into integrated and split types.

Split-Type Fixed Gas Detector: The sensor and signal transmission lines are installed within the explosion-proof equipment casing, commonly referred to as the probe, and mounted at the site (hazardous area). The second part primarily includes data analysis, secondary information display, alarm control, and power supply. It is installed as a controller, usually termed auxiliary equipment, and mounted in the control room (a safe location).

Integrated Fixed-Position Harmful Gas Detectors: Available for on-site installation, these detectors operate like portable equipment devices, utilizing 220V AC power, offering continuous automatic detection and alarm, with most being diffusion sampling.
